Voopoo’s DRAG Max is a groundbreaking dual-battery mod-styled vape kit, with a PNP magnetic tank. The Drag Max mod powers up to 177 watts of power thanks to the GENE.FAN 2.0 chipset. The premium-looking kit is blended with a blend of leather and metal. There is also an optional larger PNP 4.5ml pod which will increase your juice capacity from the standard 2ml.

The DRAG Max supports two vape levels. The easy-to-vape SMART mode for beginner vapers, and the power-free RBA mode for advanced vapers. DRAG Max is powered by dual external 18650 batteries to provide a powerful vape experience and optional backup power. The charging port and cable increase charging speed by 50%.

Replacement Coils & E-Liquids

The DRAG Max’s PNP tank is compatible with all PnP coils including RBA. Each PNP coil offers a different vape experience, from mouth-to-lung (MTL) to replicate the feel of a cigarette, restricted-direct-to-lung (RDL) for boosted flavours, or direct-to-lung (DTL) for flavour and cloud chasing.

The VM1, VM2 and VM6 coils are designed for sub ohm / direct to lung (DTL) vaping.  The lower ohms options – VM1 0.3ohms, VM2 0.6ohms and VM6 / TPP-DM1 0.15ohms offer more vapour and flavour typically. In terms of which e-liquids are best suited to this range of coils, then the sub ohm DTL spare coils (VM1, VM2, VM6) are recommended for vaping with higher VG juices. There is a huge range of flavours and brands of short fills available, most of which are compatible. The recommendation is for a 70% VG or higher, which can be checked in the e-liquid product page specifications.

There are also Voopoo PNP coils available for restricted direct to lung (RDL) vaping – the PNP M2 and TM2 coils. These are higher ohms at 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm respectively, so the longer your juice and battery will last. These RDL coils also let you vape slightly higher nicotine strengths. The RDL (M2 and TM2) coils are also suited to using many of the flavours and brands of short fills available, except the recommendation is now 70% VG or less. They can also be used with Vapour Days UK and the Cherub 10ml bottles for a longer lasting coil life and higher nicotine options.

In contrast to the RDL and DTL coils above, there are PNP TR1 1.2ohm mouth to lung (MTL) coils released by Voopoo. These mean you can now vape higher nicotine strengths for replacing smoking. The best e-juices to use are lower VG with Vapour Days UK or the Cherub brand of 10ml bottles being most compatible. These MTL coils are also suitable for using with nicotine salts, which offer even higher nicotine strengths but a smoother throat hit. 18650 Batteries

The Drag Max mod uses dual 18650 Batteries, for which there are various recommendations to ensure your safety. If you are carrying around spare 18650 batteries, please ensure to carry them in a suitable battery container. It is also recommended to use the same brand of batteries purchased at the same time so that your mod is powered equally.

Batteries may explode or fire if mistreated. Do not crush or modify. Keep away from metal objects. Please select qualified battery products and follow relevant instructions for proper usage.

Using an external battery charger (available separately) helps to ensure these batteries are charged balanced. Charging batteries through a mod can unbalance batteries which can put extra load on a single battery and could lead to venting. However Voopoo do claim that this particular kit can charge different batteries balanced. It is recommended to always read the manufacturer’s recommendations prior to charging. There are choices of external chargers, including an 8 bay Efest charger, as well as 4 bay Nitecore chargers and dual 2 bay Efest chargers.
