Reopening of Vape Shops in Bristol Amidst Tier 3 COVID-19 Restrictions

COVID 19 Vapour Days

Bristol will be allowed to reopen its vape shops inspite of being issued with a Tier 3 (a very high alert). This is positive for those needing vape products urgently and last minute, for example if you lose your kit or e liquids, or burn out a coil unexpectedly. However, it is still worth being mindful that we are in a very high alert environment with COVID rates being one of the highest in the UK as we write this post.

Our Higher Risk Customers and Team

Many of our customers were triggered to switch from smoking to vaping as a result of health issues such as cancer or heart disease. Others switched to vaping due to underlying health conditions such as type 1 or type 2 diabetes or asthma. Many of these reasons for vaping are also associated with higher risks of Coronavirus issues. Therefore we are mindful about the importance of keeping ourselves and customers as safe as possible in the current COVID-19 pandemic.

What COVID-19 Measures Do Vapour Days UK Have in Place?

Proptective measures used by Vapour Days UK include:

  • Social distancing
  • Wearing face masks
  • Screen guards around the checkout area
  • Hand sanitisers
  • Protective gloves
  • No testers available from our popular e-juice testing stations

For the future, there is the prospect of future vaccinations. You find well respected organisations like the World Health Organisation (WHO) who outline the process for ensuring that a vaccine is safe and effective. See more reassuring information on their Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19): Vaccines page. Once vaccines have been made available to us, we will be protecting ourselves with a vaccine to increase the chances that we all remain healthy for the many years to come.
