E-Liquid & Coil Options

The Aegis Boost 2 pod kits come with two coil types: the 0.6ohm and 0.2ohm Aegis-B coils. The 0.6ohm replaceable coils are designed for restricted-direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping, which offers boosted flavours but less cloud than the 0.2ohm option. These coils are ideal for lower VG e liquids including the Vapour Days UK 10ml bottles or the Cherub brands of flavours. RDL coils produce more clouds and therefore are recommended for use with lower nicotine strengths. You can also use some higher VG e liquids, up to 70% VG, which opens you up to using the majority of the bigger short fills available at Vapour Days UK too. These have no nicotine although there is the option to add a nicotine shot to create a low 3mg bottle of juice. You can also vape CBD juices with these coils, such as the best-selling Orange County brand.

In contrast, the 0.2ohm Aegis-B coils are designed for sub ohm / direct-to-lung (DTL) vaping. This means they are best being vaped with higher VG juices, designed for bigger clouds and flavours. The recommended VG of the e-liquids for this coil is 70% VG or higher. These bigger shortfills contain no nicotine, although you can add nicotine shots to make a low-level of nicotine.

Charging

Please note that these Geekvape Aegis Boost 2 pods, like most electronic cigarettes on the market, should be charged with a wall plug of 1amp or less in power. Most phone and other plugs are typically higher than 1 amp and therefore will damage the batteries in vape kits.
